Welding Applications Using Iron Powders

Iron powders significantly increase the weld deposition rate when they are added to welding stick electrode coatings and cored welding wire fluxes. They also function as cutting powders which increase heat and form fluxes that improve torch cutting of carbon and stainless steel ingots and slabs.
