Chemical Applications Using Iron Powders
High quality iron powders are key raw materials in the manufacture of certain iron-based compounds. Iron powders serve as reactants in the reduction of nitrous compounds into amines, alloy additions for aluminum, and for some food grade uses.
Individual Product Datasheets for Chemical Applications
Ancor FG-100: This sponge iron powder grade is certified as passing the latest revision of the Food Chemicals Codex by an accredited laboratory.
Ancor MH-100: This sponge iron powder grade is characterized by its high chemical purity and closely controlled particle size distribution.
Ancorsteel 1000: This atomized iron powder grade is characterized by its high chemical purity and closely controlled particle size distribution.
Iron Flakes: Iron Flakes are produced by the compaction of powder particles. The individual flakes have sufficient mass to penetrate slag on a molten metal surface, but are small enough for rapid dissolution.
