Q: | What size samples does Hoeganaes provide? | |

A: | For straight iron or premixed compositions, we provide samples in multiples of 25 lbs. ANCORBOND® and ANCORDENSE® premixes are special cases that require a minimum order of 500 lbs. Base iron and custom premix compositions are available upon request. | |

Q: | What are the standard sizes for production premixes? | |
|

A: | Conventional premixes can be
supplied anywhere in the range of 3000 lbs. to 40,000 lbs. The premix size will determine
where it is processed. Premixes ranging in size from 3000 lbs. to 30,000 lbs. are
processed at Arc Metals. Premixes that are 30,000 lbs. and over are processed at the
Gallatin or Milton facilities. ANCORBOND® and ANCORDENSE® premixes are supplied anywhere in the range of 10,000 lbs. to 40,000 lbs. Distaloy premixes are supplied in increments of 13,200 lbs., 32,000 lbs., and 40,000 lbs. Distaloy ANCORBOND® premixes are supplied in increments of 13,200 lbs., 26,400 lbs., and 40,000 lbs. Premixes in sizes smaller than 13,200 lbs. are made on a case by case basis. |
