Hoeganaes Corporation conducted research into unique test methods for PM materials. Included in these are:
• Dilatometry: The study of phase transformations during the sintering process
• Non Destructive Evaluation
• Quantitative Metallography: The use of quantitative metallography to facilitate failure analysis, degree of sinter techniques, fatigue crack growth rates, etc.
• SPC: Statistical Process Control of powder production and part manufacturing.
